@iheartfaces: dramatic B&W

i've taken a couple of weeks off from i heart faces, mainly cause i didn't have just the right photo for the contests and things have been crazy busy around here. but i saw this week's theme and knew exactly what photo i wanted to use! this edit was actually a mistake--i wasn't going for this look and was using some of coffee shop's actions that i wasn't familiar with. but then i got this--

and loved it. the grittiness, the high contrast and those eyes--all of it completely worked for me. the mom loved it, too!
