one of the challenges so far in this pregnancy has been keeping the animals from walking across my growing belly. they all have a habit of stepping on me (and justin--i'm not alone in this) as we're laying on the couch or in bed, and they just seem to know exactly how to put all of their weight on one paw so that it really hurts--even though the heaviest animal is still under 15 pounds.
but once they get settled, they can be really sweet. and we can't wait to see what happens when the belly can push back :)
(and yes, that's the baby bump in the foreground. and my legs and thighs in the background. please disregard those and focus on the cute dog/cat and the belly.)
